OBJECTIVE

UNIX / Solaris / HP/UX / AIX Administrator – Web Architect and Programmer as well (see other resumes at http://www.webiron.com/resume)

AVAILABILITY: Current contract expiration expected ~ 09/10/05 Two weeks notice to current contract client. I suspect they are planning to renew though…

ROAD WARRIOR: I have an RV (truck and large trailer) and can have my housing setup anywhere in the country in a couple days in general.  When I contract for the short term or long term, I love living in my RV so geography is not generally a deterrent and I love to travel to new destinations. It is far better than dealing with setting up apartment based housing and accommodates my career as well as allows me to try out potential long-term employers without great risk involved.  Do not limit opportunities based on geography.

At the pinnacle of my IBM career, I was the senior AIX technical specialist in the IBM Executive Briefing Center. It was both technical from a demo development and admin setup perspective, as well as a marketing presentation perspective. I did it all! The job included a significant amount of after hours entertainment. I was wholly responsible for the technical aspects and operation of the briefing/presentation facility and design and programming of many demos. Technical coordinator and senior technical support for all AIX & RS/6000 oriented road shows in the continental US. I was a keynote technical speaker at many world-class trade shows, and traveled extensively in the US and abroad doing public speaking and executive level marketing.
