background with a large amount of education and experience in all of the above
and have applied my EE skills aside my CS skills throughout my career on
complex hardware/software projects. I seem to always end up as a team lead,
management advisor and assistant, and the “go-to guy” that can
solve most any problem… I’ve also managed large multi-shift virtual
teams spanning multiple continents as well. I was IBM’s
technical road show manager for launch of a major product line and managed all
road show tech staff for the national tour as well as managed technical staff
for IBM’s executive briefing
center.

http://Moodly.com – (PHP, MySQL,
AJAX) A mood sensitive
search engine (patent pending technology). Check out the “My
Moodly” icon in the upper right to see the many CSS/HTML
driven themes I added. The central engine digests and processes the CSS and HTML dynamically so setting up a new theme
only takes a few minutes to a few hours at most. Very powerful understanding of
web technologies with emphasis on CSS
and templates is applied here. This search engine is the topic of many
international provisional patents as I have developed and evolve new
technologies herein. This is my flagship project in progress.
http://GoingCentral.com
– Integrated services for Internet marketers with centralized desktop for
single login support across multiple service oriented sites. LAMP technology
running on my own Windows based enterprise servers. This site is unique as I
developed the central login and service APIs for all the subordinate websites.
Please visit this site and explore the many other sites I have developed. The
second of my flag ship projects.
http://TrafficCentral.com –
Clean design including graphics and entire layout from scratch. LAMP technology

redesigned and underlying site monitoring system. LAMP
technology. Try it from demo login mode at GoingCentral.com
.
Others… Try all the other sites at GoingCentral.com
for more examples (Use login demo/demo).
Zombied website projects I developed/managed at one time
for Other Companies
http://GameSwapZone.com - (PHPProbid Auction, PHP, MySQL) Responsible for
install, test, defect correction, custom toolbar, user experience and back
office enhancements, and site technical launch. Unfortunately the company closed the operation of
the site I designed due to losses and sold the domain. I keep this listed as it
was good experience fixing a lot of bugs in the realm of online auctions and
customer care backend management.
http://CGonline.com - (Mambo CMS,
PHP, MySQL) Maintenance, custom modules and improvements. Custom RSS feed & XML parsers for
inline content. The site’s not anywhere near as nice as the one I built
for the original company, but the original company web operations were all
terminated and the domain is now under control of another.
http://CDMag.com - (Mambo CMS,
PHP, MySQL) New version of cgonline.com that I have done from scratch.
Built on newest ver. of Mambo CMS.
Custom RSS feed &. XML parser. Unfortunately the
company closed the operation of the site I designed due to losses and sold the
domain. The reason I keep this listed is I wrote custom XML parsers for data feeds.
There are a lot of others too, but these are most
recent efforts within four years time approximately.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE CHRONOLOGICALLY
PriceWaterhouseCoopers / Tampa, FL
RAD/AGILE/XP Team Lead & RAD
Process Consultant, PwC Survey Development Operations (6/07
to present; consulting engagement originally through CMC and now Veredus Corp.)
RAD/AGILE/XP Environment Tech Lead,
process consultant/lead, lead programmer, and tech trainer leveraging Vovici
EFM and other RAD tools layering JavaScript/CSS for DHTML enhancements/GUI development
for data collection web forms. Architect and developer of the
team’s on-going and globally used JavaScript framework. Led a team of onshore and offshore developers responsible for
implementing approximately 25 web surveys / data collection instruments per
month under RAD conditions. Trained other developers on advanced DHTML and JavaScript methods
as applied to their internal systems and adapted technologies to enhance the
PwC
Survey
Center
’s methods
substantially. RAD/AGILE/XP
Process Consultant; responsible for an overall SDLC process overhaul
resulting in a self-authored ~90 page SDLC process document and framework that
is the base for PwC survey operations today and is expected to be the basis for
future operations in their RAD survey development environment.
Team Technical Trainer; personally
designed and authored a series of 3 to 4 day “boot camp” technical training
programs for tech staff onshore and offshore, on topics of RAD tool
enhancement, team software framework application, and general methods for
layering technologies atop the existing RAD survey development toolset, all of
which are in use and leveraged worldwide in the PwC data collection operations
and are the basis for training new professional development staff and in
support of internal self service users.
Notable Awards: A special letter of
reference and a significant financial award was recently granted to me on March
25th, 2008 for work on various projects. This was the first ever
award that Veredus Corporation had received on behalf of a client for any of it’s consultants.
Secondary experience while on this assignment included manipulation of database
via SQL Server management studio (lighter DBA work than traditionally
accustomed to) and some SSRS (~exposure and light use). Responsible for survey Reporting operations; data collection
to report design; considerations and data integrity details to ensure clients
obtained satisfactory and appropriate reports (graphical and raw data).
Other technical daily considerations: Heavy browser DOM tree manipulation,
browser event handling, and cross browser scripting/testing involved (IE,
Safari, FireFox targets).
Gentiva /
Tampa
,
FL
RAD/AGILE/XP Environment Team
Member / Java/JavaScript DHTML/
CSS
DHTML GUI expert (12/06 to 5/07)
Wireframes and Web 2.0+ principles based GUI prototyping in a RAD/AGILE/XP
environment.
Significant work with browser
DOM
tree and JavaScript. Resolved key issues with Yahoo widgets and other
tool kit (Dojo) widget interactions. Applied JavaScript and VBScript/Active X objects to solve several
client GUI problems. Acted as web
GUI tech lead in their advanced R&D group to teach others advanced GUI
/ Java / JavaScript integrations methods by example and prototypes, now in
final commercial products.
Developed several custom JavaScript widgets
including pre-loader overlay (progress bar type widget), advanced client side
form validators that work with Jboss/JSF tags properly.
Corrected defects in other widgets from several
tool kits and their interactions including popup calendars, yahoo widgets, and
customized lightbox overlays for client, including fix of bugs other developers
could not solve. All work in this area was generally JavaScript/VBScript oriented
and a key understanding of the DOM
tree and available DOM
manipulation methods and use of HTML div tags was critical. Stylized
widgets with CSS as well.
Beyond the DHTML / JavaScript / GUI work I also implemented these
new widgets and methods I demonstrated to their team in 2 internal
applications. The applications are written in Java using Java Server Faces and
the development environment was based on tools such as Aptana/Eclipse, and
Jboss as the A/S using ANT for build scripts. Subversion was used for CM work.
Coded the supporting backing beans in Java and adjusted service layers, also in
Java.
In addition to the underlying JavaScript and DOM tree understanding, the browser XML Http
Request object was used for several AJAX
oriented exercises related to data fetch and insert into the DOM tree. I
rewrote a buggy JavaScript AJAX client used to support an older version of IE
and also created new Active X object based VBScript AJAX scripts for data fetch
and DOM tree insertion that is
compatible with all IE versions and bug/anomaly free.

Servers (Cpanel, Ensim, and Plesk) and Reseller Programs /
JavaScript / HTML / DHTML / Style Sheets / Custom Graphics and Animation with
Adobe toolsets / Perl Programming / Designed and integrated and Custom Mail
System in Perl / File Locking / Sorting. ASP .Net: Did two internal website
projects with SQL Server, IIS, and ASP. Primarily focused on PHP and MySQL
based sites over past 5 years with some Perl intermixed as well as Oracle
on the backend. Developer of new advertising technologies on Internet and
various traffic exchanges comprising the TrafficCentral Global Network (http://TrafficCentral.biz,
http://TrafficCentral.com
). Also have in-house Windows 2000 based servers for SQL server use and testing
of .Net apps. Have written commercially sold VB6 and VB.net applications and ~100 VB.net and ASP.net test
applications over past 2 years for education and training purposes. Some work
with C# via training and education examples and self-study. My
recent VB6 applications are related
to sites http://LinkingCentral.com and
http://NavFramer.com and are very simple in
nature compared to many I have written in the past. These will migrate to
VB.net or C# in the future. I have in-house Windows 2000 advanced servers
running SQL server and IIS and I can prototype any application for a potential
employer, if warranted. Limited SQL Server DBA skills include TSQL, SQL Query
Analyzer use, DTS, execution path analysis, stored proc creation via basic TSQL
skills, and can programmatically execute stored procs
from VB.net OR C#.net. Comfortable with trigger design and use as well and can
manage a recursive trigger environment if required.
In addition, most recently, I have adapted Windows Enterprise Servers and
Virtual Servers to manage LAMP environments more cleanly and for an enhanced
hardware abstraction layer. So most interestingly, the current environment I
manage consists of a hybrid of Windows and Linux environments, and several
terabytes of databases. I designed and
architected and manage the networking layers including multiple Alteon 184 load balancers and several routers including
firewall management from the OS level to the
ISP
connection.
In summary, I have designed and developed an entire hybrid enterprise
architecture that resides in my own managed racks for support of Moodly.com and
other related operations and sites. This
is a good example of my breadth of knowledge related to OS admin, networking,
and software architectures and programming thereof. This is a live and ongoing
effort.
